Mark is an attorney with a strong business focus, bringing over 30 years of business and legal experience to RowanTree Law Group. Mark's primary areas of expertise are strategic partnerships/relationships, promoting growth through innovation, intellectual property licensing, and legal due diligence.

Mark has spent 25 years in the gaming industry.  He began this journey at Anchor Gaming, where he was responsible for patenting and protecting the industry changing bonus wheel.  He then structured and managed the joint venture with industry giant IGT for the Wheel of Fortune slots - which in turn lead to the merger of Anchor with IGT. Mark was also instrumental in forming the gaming industry’s most influential intellectual property consortium between key industry stakeholders (and competitors) at the time, Anchor, IGT, MGM, and Bally Gaming, paving the way for the transition from cash-based gaming to cashless gaming (aka TITO, or ticket-in-ticket-out).  Representing the consortium, he monetized those technologies, generating hundreds of millions in licensing revenues. Most recently he has served as the General Counsel for a gaming technology firm based in Las Vegas, NV, with operations across Asia.

Mark is also one of the founding members of the Association of Gaming Equipment Manufacturers (AGEM), the international trade association representing manufacturers and suppliers of electronic gaming devices, lotteries, systems, and services for the gaming industry. Additionally, Mark co-founded and co-chaired the Gaming Committee in the High-Tech Sector for the Licensing Executives Society.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Mark is the proud father of five and an avid cyclist.
